kid update...

  • What's the weather like? RAINY!

...still no baby goats...still waiting...for kids!

I was feeling discouraged because I didn't have a baby goat to bring for g week in kindergarten...we'd had the little red hen, and a little piggy come to school...but I really wanted to bring a new baby goat today....I was pouting...no farm animal visit this week....then today during show and tell...the kids told me...."but you brought the gold fish for our fish tank....and gold fish starts with /g/!  The fish came from your pond...So you did bring a farm show and tell!"....what do you know!!! Kids are great aren't they!

I enjoy reading about your farm....I'm unable to do much outside....I caregive for my husband who is confined to a hospital bed in our home. I have one very small flower bed that I barely manage to take care of....but years ago we had animals, chickens, turkeys, geese, a horse....I miss it...being outside the chores, the garden....so it's a delight to read about yours....:)

coulda took a guinea(sp?) too! But the kids idea was great. Now, when you have that baby goat name her some thing with the letter from that weeks story,,,,then you can take it!! "Hannah the held-up goat", "In the nick of time, Irma".....
